|    Lotus Notes Remote Access Problem throug    |

XPost: comp.groupware.lotus-notes, comp.groupware.lotus-notes.admin,       comp.groupware.lotus-notes.misc       XPost: comp.security.ssh              I'm not sure if these are the right newsgroups I can post my questions. In       case if this is not right, please forgive me!! ^^              We have a Domino 6.5 server. Some users can remotely access our server       through their broadband. Some users can only receive mails but not able to       send any mails to it. Apparently for those unfortunate users they can only       read data from database, but not write data or create new database       remotely. They access the server using the same VPN policy.              For those unfortunate users, they can at once be able to send/receive emails       to Notes once they use traditional dial-up lines.              I suspect that the problem can occur because a number of factors may affect       it: like the ISP, the type of modem used by the ISP, or the network       configuration of the user's environment. Difficult as it is, I am still       interested to know any way to help me to fix as much as I can.              Are there any good tools out there that can help me diagnose the problem?       Any advice is very much appreciated!              Thanks in advance!!! ^^              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
