   Is not a VPN problem. You need to resolve the name. If the VPN connection   
   doesn't provide a WINS server (and obviously   
   you have one) you can act on the hosts file located on windows in the   
   %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc folder.   
   Follow the syntax explained within the file hosts and put IP and name of your   
   server.   
   If you have multiple servers to reach you need a WINS server.
