|    VPN appliance that will work in transpar    |

From: kevin_noble@hotmail.com              Does anyone know of a VPN appliance that will work as a VPN (appliance to       appliance for a single tunnel only) in transparent or bridged mode. I want       an appliance that I can drop in either end of an existing routed network and       establish an encrypted link between sites without changing the network in       any majro way or adding new subnets, etc. I am willing to change the client       workstations at the remote side to point to a different gateway (ie. if the       drop in VPN appliance can become this gateway) but beyond that I am trying       to avoid changing the network - is this possible? I have heard that       Netscreen may be able to do this by being able to setup VPNs to its       managment interface when in transparent mode - are there others like       Sonicwall or Watchguard?              Reply to kevin_noble@hotmail.com if you have any information you want to       share on this.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
