   I forgot:   
      
   You could set all your suppliers into the DMZ and install the data they   
   need also there. Then you configure the firewall to protect your trusted   
   network from the DMZ and you just have to allow your own personnel   
   access into the DMZ. IMO it's much easier to control one's own machines   
   than controlling others.
