|    VPN error #721    |

From: jorge.balseirolopez@wanadoo.es              Dear folks:              I´m trying to solve a problem with VPN connections and Windows XP. My       network configuration is as follows:               - MS Small Business Server 2000 (W2K Server Service Pack 4) with RAS       enabled and properly configured        - Cisco 1721 DSL Access Router with static routing to server´s IP       address (port 1723 open) and GRE protocol enabled.              Curious situation: any Windows 2000, 9x client can connect via VPN       connection, but XP clients don´t pass through the authentication process.       They establish the connection, trying to check usrname and password, and       after a while I get error #721: The server is not responding.              Any ideas? I´ve been looking around for similar problems, but no solution       found yet.              Thanks in advance,              Jorge Balseiro.       IT Manager       InforHouse S.L.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
