|    Nortel Contivity VPN client over ADSL ho    |

XPost: comp.dcom.sys.nortel       From: ryden@labyrinth.net.au              TheNortel Contivity VPN client (V04_65.18) works fine to my office Nortel       access servers over a dialup modem link.              (even a 'shared' dialup modem link from another PC on the LAN)              However, when I try to connect through an ADSL modem (Netcomm NB1300), it       fails.              The ADSL connection is to the same ISP as my dialup connection.              ADSL is using PPPoA (but I don't understand what all the different settings       are).              I'm wondering if there are tunneling ports that I need to set up on the ADSL       modem. The modem manufacturer's pages say that VPN tunneling is done by       default, though.              Thanks for any clues/assistance.              -- Phil              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
