|    Setup Cisco VPN Client and Linksys BEFVP    |

From: fhargrave@carolina.rr.com              Has anyone successfully used the Cisco VPN Client on a Windows 98SE       client machine with a Linksys BEFVP41 VPN router at the server end. If       so, how are they configured?              The Linksys VPN router log file reports that it is receiving an unknown       attribute.       The Cisco VPN Client log file reports that it cannot accept an incoming       connection.       These failures occurs during phase 1 negotiation.:              Both Linksys and Cicso are set for 3DES, SHA, with pre shared keys.       Both normal and aggressive modes have been tried.              Another client machine with SSH Sentinel establishes the connection over       the same path without problems.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
