|    Help finding the right VPN set up.    |

From: noharvesting@spam.com              Hello all,              I am in need of some assistance in finding the right vpn setup to meet       the following requirements:              ONE MAIN OFFICE with connections to MANY Branch offices (40 in total),       simple enough but here is that catch. The MAIN OFFICE vpn box needs to       have some sort of api that allows commands to be sent to it which enable       and disable the corresponding branch tunnels at will. Or optionally this       same process could occur on a time window basis, where the MAIN OFFICE       vpn box is scheduled to turn tunnels on or off is accordance with some       set time policy.              I have used and deployed the symantec line for VPN appliances, and       although their cost is attractive, they are a pain in the proverbial       ass, and lack the above mentioned features.              Cost is also important, the MAIN OFFICE vpn box should not exceed $2000       (CDN) and each branch should not exceed $800 CDN.              Any suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.              Thanks in Advance!       Kris.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
