|    No incoming connections to VPN machine o    |

From: danick5000@hotmail.com              Hello,              Whenever I start up the laptop, I get a VPN-1 SecureClient alert       message which says, 'IP forwarding is active on your machine. Your       machine has been tagged as Insecurely Configured and will block       inbound connectioins until IP forwarding is disabled. Please disable       IP forwarding and re-start SecureClient'              Is it possible that the VPN software is blocking all my connectioins       even after I select "kill" from the VPN menu? I tried to follow some       other advice on how to disable ip forwarding by going into the       registry. But my machine seems to already have it disabled. Unless       it's being enabled some other way...              I can't ping my laptop from any machine on my LAN but my laptop can       see and access the other machines. And it can print to a shared       printer and even access the internet. So I think it might be my VPN       that is still blocking incoming connections even though I use the       'kill' feature.              Anyone know any way around this or if this could even be the problem??       Am using Win 2000 on the laptop and Win XP on one other machine and       Win ME on another.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
