|    VPN Client suggestion?    |
|    25 Nov 03 19:13:12    |
From: s.beimer@gmx.de              Hi,              I would like to set up some VPN connections from friends to my home       router (Netgear FVS318).              I got it running with the Safenet Softremote LT Version 9.              But...              I need to bind the MS Network-client and enable the NetBIOS on the       TCP/IP for the DUN connection to browse the remote network.       But if I do so, the MS-Network is also used for the 'normal' DUN       Internet-Connection and this is imho a security problem.              Is there any other VPN cleint that uses some kind of a virtual adapter       like the Windows XP build in VPN client does?       So I don't need to bind more than necessary to the DUN connection?              With kind regards,        Stefan              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
