   I don't have a link quickly at hand, though you can find some   
   information by searching the Technet area of Micro$oft.  When it comes   
   to port(s) you need open, you'll need 1723 for most flavors of VPN,   
   including PPTP.  If you really can FTP from a phone, that would be port   
   21.  And the private LAN IP of 10.x.x.x is fine.
