|    Win PPTP clients do LCP echoes?    |
|    11 Dec 03 19:22:29    |
From: jdloop@remove.bellsouth.net              Hello,       I have been debugging Win2K and WinXP pptp clients talking to pptp servers.       Looks to me like these clients do NOT do LCP echo requests to the ppp       servers, altho the servers I use certainly do (Contivity).       Is this one of those "go into the registry to modify the echo       interval/algorithm/disable?"       I haven't found any info on this. Can somebody verify/clarify/correct me on       this?       Thanks in advance       J              --       Check my web site for tips on insuring safe computing in wired and wireless       homenetworking environments!       www.pccitizen.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
