      From: webster@speakeasy.org              I figured out how to get a VPN connection, but I still need help.              Ok, it took me a few days to be able to make a VPN connection into my       Netgear FVM318, but now I have another problem.              Once the connection is made, I don't have access to anything. It seems       the reason is because the virtual adapter interface doesn't get a       gateway address and DNS assigned. Anyone know how to do this? Below is       the what I get on the virtual adapter when I do an ipconfig /all. BTW,       anyone know how to setup NetBIO over tcp/ip on the Virtual Adapter?              TIA!              PPP adapter SafeNet Virtual Adapter Interface:               Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :        Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface        Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-53-45-00-00-00        DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No        IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1        Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255        Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :        DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . :        NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
