|    How to communicate outside of a Netscree    |
|    19 Dec 03 21:30:06    |
From: garye@att.net              A friend of mine owns a franchised store where his backoffice PC's are       connected to his supplier through a Netscreen VPN. All of his transactions       and other business reports are transmitted from his store to the home office       of the supplier via the VPN.              He wants to access his office PC's from his home PC. His supplier will not       allow his home PC to be connected to the VPN so any communication between       home and store will have to be done outside the VPN.              What is the best approach? Should he set up a second VPN for his store and       home PC's or is something like PCAnywhere a simpler and better solution.       Can the store PC's be connected to the supplier VPN and his home at the same       time or will he have to terminate the session between the store PC and       supplier?              Thanks in advance.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
