|    Wireless VPN problem    |
|    24 Dec 03 15:43:52    |
From: none@none.com              I use a USB DSL modem and Sygate sharing software to run my home network.       The wireless connection is via a Linksys Wireless Router used as an access       point.              I can VPN to my company via a Cisco client VPN when using either a wired or       wireless connection (ie the vpn connects), but do not have access to email       or network devices when using wireless. The wireless connection works fine       until I run the client VPN       software. Then, no access. Nor can I surf or ping sites after       connecting wirelessly. As I said, no problem when I connect through hard       wired ethernet in the network.              I logged the problem using the client vpn software, and the following is an       excerpt:              1 08:38:00.776 12/12/03 Sev=Warning/3 IKE/0xE300002A       Received ISAKMP packet whose stated length exceeds data: 124 vs 4121465591              2 08:38:00.776 12/12/03 Sev=Warning/3 IKE/0xE3000038       ISAKMP header invalid: message id = 0xCE25DD6F              I am not literate in VPN at all, so any help is appreciated.       Thanks              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
