|    BEFVP41: Can't pass PPTP    |
|    31 Dec 03 05:40:25    |
From: mike@mishlercomputers.com              Ever since I installed my BEFVP41 Linksys router, my clients can't connect       to my vpn server.              I'm positive my vpn works because it worked with my RT314 Netgear router and       it works on the LAN.              I've gone into port forwarding and I've forwarded 1723 to 192.168.0.5 (my       server IP). I made sure PPTP is enabled. I even tried forwarding port 47       (what is that anyway) to 192.168.0.5 via Linksys knowledge database       solution. Still, no connection              My clients computer connects, but when it tries to verify username and       password, it just sits there for about a minute or so and report that no       certificate could be found.              Anyone have this router and have the same problem who has a solution       perhaps? Thanks for any suggestions.              ~Michael              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
