|    Sonicwall VPN client hangs PC (XP Home)    |
|    09 Jan 04 12:43:17    |
From: iemand@ergens.dewereld              I'm using v.2.0.0.1113. That's the right version??              After installing and a reboot, the sonicwall VPN Adaptor seems to       try to get an IP addr, via DHCP. This trying hangs, making it impossible       to 1. reboot, 2. deinstall, 3. use the VPN adaptor 4. use any other       networking capabilities of my PC.              I can't reboot or deinstall cause Win XP sais I have to wait       to let the Adaptor complete its initialization. Obviously, the VPN       client software doesn't want to recognise the Adaptor at all and       I even can't use the software...              So, I'm living with a dead PC at the moment :-((              Anyone a suggestion how to deinstall or how to repair?       How can I tell the Adaptor to stop trying something it doen't       get through?              --       Gr., Huibert.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
