From: a.scoble@ntlworld.com              Hi there.       I am new to VPN, but I have set up a VPN at my (very occasional) workplace.       The last time I was there I set up the host side of things, came home and       tested it ... everything OK.              I have not been back on site since, so I am assuming all settings host side       are the same, the following all relates to my PC at home:       Somewhere along the line I deleted the connection, so I have set up a new       one.       Now I keep getting error 721 at the password verification stage.       I have tried pinging the public address, no response.              I have disabled NIS and used the DMZ on my router for short periods of time       to rule out firewall interference. Once I have the connection sorted, I will       navigate through the complications of that, but at the moment I can discount       that.              Win XP pro is the platform at both ends.              I am expected to be able to set up more clients by next week when I return       to site, so I am starting to freak out a bit.              HELP!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
