OK, I found it out on my own. The pptp connections are saved in a file
rasphone.pbk (located somewhere in \documents and settings) and can be
easily moved to floppy or USB stick and taken to another PC. On the
other PC, user id and password have to be re-entered (what is good as
far as security is concerned). Once re-entered, uid and pwd are
permanently stored on the other PC (I suppose in the registry).

For maximum security, I will complete forbid saving of pptp passwords.
This can be done with a registry hack:
   HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\Parameters
   \DisableSavePassword = 1

   Regards
