From: artw.dontsendmespam@all.cox.net              Sorry if this post belongs somewhere else but it is really 2 questions.              1) I have a linksys 54A+G router. I am thinking about a Netgear 108Super-G       router. Anyone have any experience with these? Is 108G really 108G or just       a firmware trick to make the user believe it's 108G. Without being too       skeptical, what I'm saying is can you notice the difference (wife transfers       lots of digital cam pics, home movies, etc...to the main server).              2) Is the Netgear FWAG114 Prosafe Dual Band Router VPN good for this? It's       +A with turbo mode sounds intriguing (supposed to provide 108 in turbo       mode - I currently run a +A and really love the 5.2Ghz). I need the VPN to       properly log into my server from the road.              BTW, reason for switching. 3 requests to Linksys support and over a month       without a reply to any of them. They were great until 3com bought them.       It's a shame. Blue's such a cool color too.              Any help is appreciated.              Art              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
