From: webster@speakeasy.org              I can't help with the Sonicwall, but I was able to browse the network       with both the Netgear FVS318 and FVM318 using Safe Remote as the client.              The 1st thing you have to make sure that you have the Netgear router       setup to pass NetBios. The 2nd part, which may not be possible, is that       you have to run Windows XP.              With Netbios enables on the router and running XP, here's the trick with       Safenet Remote. You have to make sure you have it setup tp use a       virtual IP and the safenet miniport setup. Once this is done, go into       the properties of the miniport and setup under the Tab Network -> TCP/IP       -> Advaned -> WINS that you have Netbios over TCP/IP enabled.              If you then still can not browse the network, then make sure you have       firewall, such as Zonealarm, setup for your VPN subnet to be in your       trusted zone and you are on the same workgroup.              Sorry if I missed some of the detail, but what I'm saying is the basics       of it. BTW, with Windows 2000, this doesn't work because the miniport       driver is a dialup access and by default Win2K will not allow Netbios       over TCP/IP to be enabled.              - Dae                                   Chris Kyriacou wrote:       > I am having the same problem with an fvs318 and softremote.
