|    PPTP with BEFVP41    |

From: mike@nospam              Just running this by the NG for suggestions:              I have a Windows 2000 Server SP4, with a VPN server running on it.              Recently I replaced my Netgear RT314 router with a Linsksy BEFVP41 VPN       router              I'm trying to remotely connect to my VPN server but cannot through my       BEFVP41 router.              I've forwarded port 1723 and allowed PPTP passthrough, but stops at the part       where it authenticates the username and password and gives an error message       620 or something like that.              Linksys website suggested a couple of things like forwarding port 47, and       440-443 but they didn't work.              I've tried DMZ, and nothing seems to work.              Has anyone gotten the BEFVP41 firmware 1.41.1 to pass PPTP?              thanks for your suggestions              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
