|    Connect to Checkpoint VPN from behind Dr    |

From: trevc8088@hotmail.com              Hi              I need to connect one of our LAN PC's to a work VPN. On our LAN, we connect       to the internet via a Draytek 2600 router. We need to connect one of our       PC's to a Checkpoint NG VPN, via their SecuRemote client.              And, I'm stuck! It works fine if our LAN PC connects to the internet via a       Dialup or DSL modem, but as soon as the router is used it fails. Gets as       far as prompting for authentication, accepts the details entered, then comes       back with a connection to the gateway failed.              I have tried opening the ports on the Draytek, pointing to our LAN PC, as       follows:       UDP 500, UDP 4500 and UDP 2746.              I have also tried all combinations of the two options within SecuRemote that       often get mentioned in these problems:       "Force UDP Encapsulation"       "Support IKE over TCP"              I read somewhere about changing the MTU value on our LAN PC but cannot find       that info now to try????              The IP ranges used on our LAN, and the other LAN are totally different.              I guess this is some sort of NAT problem with the IPSec traffic. Has anyone       got this kind of config working? Have I done the port opening correctly?              Look forward to any further help!       TC.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
