   That's a legitimate goal.

   Your question, whether to prefer a large ISP with SLAs or a plain cheap low   
   end DSL connection for each location, is easy to answer: If you depend on   
   SAP, you have to reject low end "solutions".

   It's irrelevant what you hear or feel about DSL. If you depend on the line,   
   you need a piece of paper naming explicit payments for outages. If you do   
   not need connectivity you may choose the cheapest way.
