|    VPN can't pass thru Windows 2000 NAT rou    |

XPost: microsoft.public.isa.vpn       From: zixiongwang@hotmail.com              Hi,              I'v set a VPN server and can connect a remote client to it without a NAT       router between them.              Then I'v set a NAT server between them with Windows 2000 server, who works       fine for all other trafics, but not for VPN.              I'v mapped TCP 1723 port of the NAT server to the internal VPN server, the       remote VPN client is using PPTP. But when connect, it takes long time for       user authentication, then drops the line with "server not responding".              I think that it's the GRE protocol who is not mapped, but there is no way in       Windows 2000 for mapping it (only possible for TCP and UDP).              Microsoft help talks about a PPTP NAT editor, but I can't find where it is,       is it already integrated in the NAT routing ?              Any idea ?              Thanks in advance.              Zixiong WANG       z.wang@sysium.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
