|    To make VPN connect...?    |

From: nsp@nitrosyncretic.kom              Okay, I have what is probably the all-time stooopid question for this NG.              I have two ZyWALLs in and speaking with each other and the net in all       respects - I can ping, http, and reach apps on custom ports in both       directions. I have the VPN settings carefully configured to match on both       ends.              How do I open the VPN tunnel?              Creating a network connection (in XP Pro) doesn't seem quite right (doesn't       that create a software client bypassing the local VPN box?) - and if so,       what address do I point it to? The remote ZyWALL IP? The remote LAN server       IP? Nothing I've tried has been successful.              Sorry, I know this is a dumbass question, but everything I have at hand       assumes you know what to do with VPN boxes once they're set up...              --       | James Gifford * FIX SPAMTRAP TO REPLY |       | So... your philosophy fits in a sig, does it? |       | Heinlein Pages Updated!
