   Unless I'm looking at something kompletely different, My XP Pro   
   workstation, my Win2K workstation and my Win2KAS server all have the   
   NetBIOS option on the WINS page. XP was disabled by default, the other two   
   were enabled by default. I'm off to check the setting on the Win2K3 server   
   at the other end.   
      
   Is enabling NetBIOS over IP all that's needed for a small pair of subnets?   
   Or do I have to have DNS/WINS resolution somewhere in the loop?
