   this doesn't make too much sense to me.  the win2k server can support VPN's.   
   both LT2P/IPSec as well as PPTP.  you can set that machine to act as a VPN   
   server and simply make a share for that user to place his files while   
   connected.   
      
   or, you can look at an SFTP solution.  there's no need to spend this extra   
   cash.
