From: privacy@is.very.important.respect.it              Hi,              I have little experience with linux and vpn. Now I need to configure my       machine to connect it to a Cisco-VPN-Server. I use the vpnc-Software. I       startet the modul "tun" and use a config-file like this:              interface name vpntun0       IPSec gateway my.gateway.de       IPSec ID access-name-to-vpn       IPSec secret mysecret       Xauth username myusername       Xauth password mypassword              When I try to start the client I receive the following:       No vpnc daemon found, aborting...              There are only 2 interfaces, eth0 and lo. How can I get one for my VPN?              What may be the solution? Maybe I need another module to start? Can the       client not reach the Cisco-VPN-Server?       Thank you for helping.                     Jennifer              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
