You know, I thought Ray Dennis Steckler made weird movies
before, but after seeing Rat Pfink a Boo Boo ... man, that was a
*really* weird movie. If it had stuck with its beginning, a slightly
slow but not incompetent suspense/chiller about a woman receiving no
end of threatening calls and suspicious behavior lurking around the
corners of her eyes ... or with its end and the not-quite-fast-paced
enough Adam West Batman pastiche ... it would have been ordinary,
   but together it's a jaw-dropping exercise.

It's got some good spots, though, and I particularly like an
early scene where whatsisname (Lonnie?) steps around a corner and
they cut right away to a carousel ride. It's good cinematic motion
   there.

Man, the Ed Wood-Coleman Francis-Ray Dennis Steckler world was
such a weird one. There's going to be someday whole research departments
trying to figure out the connections, links, and biographies of the
   inhabitants.

And it comes to an end with an abrupt cut, the editing in of
some unrelated footage, and a voice-over explaining there was no movie.
