Regarding the question "was Crow ever more filled with youthful glee?"
in the previous post: I'll just try to give my general impression. In
the very early episodes Crow seemed to me to be sort of coy, almost shy.
I found this somewhat charming. He then developed into the superb,
confident, hilarious Crow of say, Seasons 3 and 4. But later, along
about Season 6, he became at times (to me anyway) the lilting,
over-confident, almost annoying Crow. Not that he wasn't funny, but his
character seemed more appealing in the "Joel" era as a general rule.
