From: Scorpio42@webtv.net              I've seen both films, and it's hard to say which is "worst." One of the       reasons for this is that I saw "Manos" with the MST treatment, and       "Troll 2" straight up. Manos makes for a wonderful MST episode, but       would probably be rather dull without the riffing, in addition to its       obvious ineptitude. I remember watching Troll 2 and thinking how crappy       it was, but I was somehow enjoying it. Dumb stuff kept happening, but       somehow it was interesting enough to keep me watching. The kid wizzing       on the food to keep his family from eating it, the infamous "popcorn       seduction" scene, etc. And the Druid "Creedence," even with her green       gums was a hoot.              Verdict: Manos is worse, as a movie, per se. Great MST episode, but I       probably would have not watched it all the way through if I had come       across it on TV without the riffing. Troll 2, though, was worth       watching, if just for the weirdness.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
