   I *guess* that MST3K could be seen as a "solution manual" to the problem of   
   cheesy movies.  Or is that stretching the metaphor too much?  I once thought   
   of it as drinking some PIPING HOT CHOCOLATE, with a mouth full of ICE CUBES.
