   It's been awhile since I've written a MiSTing.  Ten years, minimum, I'd say.    
   Long enough that I've forgotten how long, really.  I'm more than a little out   
   of practice, and I'm sure it shows.  But, I'd like to get back into this, and   
   I've gotta start    
   somewhere, right?   
      
   The finished product is going to be in a non-standard formant similar to what   
   I used towards the end of my first run of MiSTings.  It won't be quite the   
   same because I'm planning on doing a bint of standard prose to "re-boot" that   
   fan-verse.  I'm just    
   about done with that, but there are a couple details I've gotta get worked out   
   first.   
      
   In the meantime, this is meant as a bit of a prelude.  I'll have it up shortly.
