   Well, she did try to marry him (for ratings, but still.)   
      
   And, for the record, they shot Mike "in his face". I assume they didn't have   
   proper life support systems in Deep 13 for his recovery and sent him up for   
   Gypsy to take care of. Eventually he got better and was able to return to   
   Earth, though due to the    
   medical bills he had to share a small apartment with the bots who got jobs on   
   automated assembly lines, at first at Johnson Controls, but not for long due   
   to their constant giggling, then later at Kohler which was ok with it for some   
   reason.
