   Try a dictionary - there are lots of them on line.   
      
   Trawling is dragging a net along the bottom of the sea, scooping up   
   everything too big to pass through the net. Sort of like doing a general   
   internet search.   
      
   Trolling is dangling a baited line in the water (often from a slow-   
   moving boat with a trolling motor), hoping to lure some big, slow-witted   
   fish up from the depths. Exactly what internet troll(er)s do.
