|    Whatever happened to SUSPENSE?    |

From: terrypin@dial.pipex.com              It makes me so mad! Once again, at the end of a serialised drama,       tonight I had to wait tensely poised with finger on remote to avoid       being given a preview of all the key events of next week's episode       within a fraction of a second of the end of THIS week's show! This       time it was 'Conviction' on BBC 2. But it happens all the time, on all       channels. What are the programme makers doing? Why do they do that?       Whatever happened to plain old suspense any more?              --       Terry, West Sussex, UK              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
