From: zzassgl@buffy.sighup.org.uk              Here I am watching Taggart without much attention. I don't care. It has       fallen into a rut. A murder to start and one more before each 30 minutes       elapsed. Oh dear. As soon as Grim Up North starts I'm switching over. I       couldn't give a damn who killed who.              Why can't we have a proper cop show? When did the multiple mass murder plot       become required? Shoestring got it right with the small crime and didn't       suffer for it. Unless you are making Homicide: Life on the Street you are       really making a soap story of human interaction wrapped in a cop show       format. Yet Taggart has forgotten this. It's a waste of a two hour slot.              --       Geoff Lane       God invented SCO to give people a company to hate more than Microsoft.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
