   just seen a tape of this, can't work out what went on - is Tom, the main

   a double agent, setting up a new life away from the Mi5 with american lover,   
   or is it a ploy to nake out he's dead, to get at the bad guy seen doing him   
   over,   
   in the field of bluebells (was that significant, too?)   
      
   i can't beleive he would shoot his boss, or commit suicide...
