|    Serial Port problems    |

From: kev@davross.org              Hi              I hope someone can help.. I am running a 16bit program (programmed in Turbo       Pascal for Windows v1.5) under Windows XP Pro - it automatically uses       wowexec & ntvdm to do this.              My program writes to the serial port every 50ms or so and I am finding that       occasionally the serial port will not transmit - it pauses for half a second       or so - then pungs out all the messages in one go.              Trying to flush the port each cycle works for a couple of seconds then jams       the port entirely. When I run the same code under Windows 2K (not including       the port flushing) it works fine! Any ideas?                     Also if you hold down the left-hand mouse key without moving the mouse, it       completely stops the program running.                     Thanks in advance!                     Alison              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
