From: Ulrich.Diez@Student.Uni-Tuebingen.De              Hello!              Using BP7, it is possible to compile programs for the Windows-platform.       The attempt of executing such a Windows-platform-based program from       (real-mode) DOS leads to the message:       "This program requires Microsoft Windows."              Is it possible to change this behavior?              There seems to be some routine by which branching is implemented:              Pseudocode:              If (Windows is run) THEN work through the program        ELSE type out: "This program requires Microsoft Windows."              I would like to change the ELSE-branch so that in this case some action       will be executed (e.g. coded in assembler) which applies to DOS (real-mode).              Where can I find code-snippets or examples for such undertakings?              (I saw that it is possible. E.g. older versions of qcd.exe, which is       a CD-player application from Creative-Labs" bring up a graphics-based       window-interface when run under windows but bring up a text-based DOS-       interface when run in real-mode/DOS.)              Sincerely              Ulrich              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
