   It isn't. Only the initialisation code and the routines/variables you   
   use are incorporated.

   The reason is that the crashing code is inside the initialisation code   
   of the unit (and it has nothing to do with the video card, fwiw). If you   
   link a generic library with initialisation code to a C, C++, Pascal,   
   Fortran, Basic or whatever program and that initialisation code is   
   buggy, you'll get the same problem.
