    Somehow I got the feeling that Jim wasn't serious about the 8088   
   remark. I guess it was the smiley that made me think so.   
      
    If you're really into the 8088 business (are there really outdated   
   machines like that, still in use today?), I'd personally recommend 100%   
   assembler, or at least a TP compiler prior to TP4, so that you would get   
   a COM file as a result.
