       I'm probably extremely biased, coming from the PASCAL echo of   
   Fidonet, where we used to have some 300-400 messages per day in the   
   heydays of Fidonet, ten years ago.   
      
       By then we thought it was enough to post the echo rules once per   
   month, and I think those echo rules can be compared to the FAQ of this   
   news group, with something like 300-400 messages per month rather than   
   per day.   
      
       Ergo: I suggest posting the (unabridged) FAQ once per month.
