   1. it depends on the version of these BGI drivers I think, the newest is   
      V3.00 afaik.   
      
   2. it depends on your graphics card and whether it is supported with   
      these vgi drivers. One mine is supported with 800x600x24 but only has   
      2 MB RAM so this is fair, the others I didn't try. But all VESA   
      compatible ones should work afaik.   
      
   3. did you already run the supplied bgidemo program? There you can try   
      out all drivers without great fuzz.
