   Tried this using the commandline compiler. Will try the IDE (which I   
   rarely use) and see if that makes any difference. However, given   
   that -CD does compile, I might get away with just moving the untyped   
   constants into a unit of their own (there are quite few) and see if   
   that solves the problem. In any case, I'm not too fussed, the problem   
   has already been solved, and my colleague is happy - for good measure   
   I've given him some URLs in the East. ;)
