   And I seriously suggest the OP checks his assignment more carefully. A   
   fullblown editor is _really_ a lot of work, and I wouldn't be surprised if   
   the assignment introduced limitations that severely lessen the work (e.g..   
   operating on per-line basis only).   
      
   Of course the lecturer will immediately notice when a fullblown editor is   
   submitted where only a minimal skeleton was required.   
      
   More dangerous even are automated plagiary testing systems that compare   
   sources to a large number of known sources (including those turned in in   
   previous years). I know our university uses such system for their pascal   
   entries, so it exists. And plagiary can leed to expulsion.
