   Well, there was the Turbo Pascal Editor Toolbox published by Borland in   
   the late 80s, which contains a full-fledged text editor running under   
   DOS. You may find a copy somewhere on ebay or similar.   
      
   Then, if you can read German, there was the "Chip Spezial Turbo-Pascal"   
   series in the late 80s and early 90s, which amongst many other useful   
   things contained the source code for a WordStar-compatible text editor.   
      
   The Turbo-Vision source contained in TP from version 6 has been   
   mentioned already by others, there are similar things available as IDE   
   for FreePascal and GnuPascal.
