To my knowledge CP is more plain Pascal with some concurrent extensions like
   monitors etc.

Language level paralellism doesn't exist in C/C++, for the rest it probably
will be more on the plain C level than C++.

Why don't you read the descriptions on the web?

P.s. this group is about the Borland variants of Pascal. Concurrent Pascal
is not one of them. Might I suggest c.l.p.m. However to my knowledge there
are currently no active users of CP there either, but it wouldn't hurt to
   try of course.
