   When you presume to inform by giving half-baked information, you must
   expect a reaction of that nature. You should pay more attention to the
   signatures of news articles; they are (sometimes) there for a purpose.

   Easter Sunday is the first Sunday after the date of the ecclesiastical
   (Paschal) full moon which occurs on or after the nominal date of the
   Vernal equinox. The difference in wording is important. That Equinox
   date is March 21st, although the London date/time of the true equinox
   varies by getting on for two days over 1900-2099, with a further day or
   so of variation if given as a local date/time. The Paschal full moon is
   an approximation to the real one.

   Fuller details, for the Roman Catholic Church, have been given by
   Clavius, in about 500 pages of Latin. I've not read much of it, but it
   evidently describes an integer calculation, chosen to fit past
   observation but independent of fresh observation.

   The authority for the Britain and the Colonies, including the Americas
   but omitting then-unknown regions such as yours, is the Calendar Act;
   the details are (substantively) reproduced in the Prayer Book; and from
   that I have deduced the full algorithm, which of course gives results
   agreeing with those presumed to be from Catholic sources.
